Clearwater Natural Medical Center

Our financial policy is as follows:

PAYMENT: All initial visits (except for Cigna PPO patients whose policy is verified beforehand) are required to be paid for at the completion of the day’s service.

Excluding cases in which insurance will be billed, all monies due are to be paid at the time services are rendered. We accept cash, checks, and Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.

Not all insurance companies recognize natural health care, therefore we are restricted in accepting insurance assignment.

We will be happy to contact your insurance company, and once verified, it will be up to the individual practitioner whether your insurance will be accepted. Please remember all initial visits are to be paid full.

WORKER’S COMPENSATION: Before we accept a Worker’s Compensation claim, the following must be met:

1. We must receive from the patient’s employer the Worker’s Comp insurance information.

2. Complete verification of the claim must be made and a claim number must be assigned.

AUTO INSURANCE: If a patient is receiving treatment under an auto accident (PIP) insurance policy, the following is required:

1. Verification of coverage, the amount of coverage, and the amount of deductible.

2. A letter of protection must be signed by the patient.

With either Worker’s Comp or PIP, the patient is responsible for 100% of the bill if they choose to be treated prior to insurance being verified. If any insurance company denies payment, the patient will be responsible for the entire amount denied by the insurance company. All charges submitted to an insurance company are subject to their review. If a company reduces our charges, the patient will be responsible for the balance owing.

MISSED APPOINTMENTS: Due to scheduling restraints, patients will be charged for any missed appointment not canceled at least 24 hours in advance.
